I absolutely love this place! Hands down, the best burrito I've eaten in California. I'm still trying other places but I can't find one that taste as good as this one. My favorite burrito is the California Burrito with carne asada. I've also tried it with shrimp and it's amazingly good that way as well. I enjoy talking with the family and I practice my Spanish with them when ordering. They are always really sweet to me. You can get it at the address on Ventura or at the taco truck they own off of Reseda. Both are equally fantastic. It's not a big sit down restaurant but they do have a place for you to sit at the restaurant and at the taco truck as well. It smells delicious. When you bite into the burrito, you'll instantly say Que Rico!! I will forever eat here and recommend everyone to try it. You'll be back once you do. Lol Oh, don't forget to pour the red or green salsa on it. By doing so, you enhance all of the flavors. I use both. The red one is hotter than the green in case you don't like it too spicy. Have a blessed day and enjoy the great food

it was a great burrito, great flavor. They gave me limes and sauce, and it was super filling. It was a very big burrito as well and the cut I had after having my massage. It was very nice to have a treat before class. I felt like I would try different options on the menu, but I think this burrito was very good - I just want to see what type of flavors they have.

I was craving a really yummy burrito and El Tacote answered. I got a customized asada supreme burrito and it was so satisfying bursting with flavorful beef, rice, beans and cheese. I got my salsa on the side to keep my burrito from getting too soggy. It was a hefty size and too much for me to finish in one sitting. The place is teeny but sufficient for a quick lunch with a few seats inside and out. It seemed like a family business which I love supporting. No frills, just a solid Mexicali menu. My only suggestion to @El Tacote Tacos is, throw a small handful of chips with an order just for good service. With a $15 burrito, seems like a reasonable added value. I hated spending an extra $3 for some chips (which were VERY good btw!).

I catered my 36th bday party and this was an absolute hit! Israel and his team were professional, punctual and friendly. They provided 3 meat options and mulitas and quesadillas along with tacos. Everyone was raving about the tacos. Thank you.

Burritos are of excellent size and quality (I typically get the steak or chicken (often with shrimp). The sauces are great and the staff is fantastic. They are very nice and welcoming.. I'll continue to swing by.

Make sure you get the Mulitas, Al Pastor & the Birria are both off the charts!!! And ask for the secret pico de gallo green salsa, holy moly, I don't even like pico de gallo & now it's my new favorite

When I picked up and paid I felt $16 is a bit pricey for a breakfast burrito... but when you take that first bite you know where that extra money went. The burrito was flavorful and good size portion, I would definitely come back to explore other items in the menu.
